Аннотация: The purpose of the paper is to study the balance sheets of the developed countries central banks as the main indicator of the global crisis. Methodology of research. The objectives of the article implemented by using the following general and specific research methods: bibliographic analysis of literature and Internet materials, analysis of statistics, study and generalization of the data obtained, experimental-theoretical methods, such as induction and deduction. Findings. The article analyzes the growth of the debt burden in developed countries and its impact on the policy of their central banks (CB) in matters of monetary stimulation of the global economy. Practical value. Substantiates the fact that the Central Bank of developed countries in the near future will not be able to stop monetary stimulation and substantially reduce the volume of assets on their balance sheets without serious negative consequences for the world economy.
