СОЦИАЛЬНО-ТРУДОВЫЕ ОТНОШЕНИЯ В РЕСПУБЛИКЕ МОЛДОВА: ОЦЕНКА И ПЕРСПЕКТИВЫ

Abstract

The socio-economic problems that exist today in the Republic of Moldova are analyzed in the article. The trends of the main economic indicators confirm that the situation on the labor market remains complicated, despite some improvements recorded in recent years. Political instability and the economic crisis at the national level negatively affect the effectiveness of employment policies. The country’s labor market continues to created the risks to the stability of economic growth. In the article also analyzed the trend of such indicator as Global Talent Competitiveness Index, which expresses the ability of the countries to maintain and attract workers to the labor market. According to this index, Moldova took 89th place in 2019 from 125 countries and fell by 14 positions in the world ranking, compared with 75th place that it occupied in 2017. The main directions for creating a stable and prosperous state, entering at a new stage of development are proposed. The successful implementation of the National Employment Strategy for 2017–2021 will contribute to this. In the long term, the problems on the labour market can be solved by improving the structure of the country’s economy based on the development and spreading of IT-technologies in various sectors of the economy.
