Аннотация: | The article reveals the peculiarities of the functioning of corporate governance systems in Nigeria through its individual components. The translation of institutions and individuals responsible for ensuring the accountability of public companies in Nigeria is covered. Based on the restoration of Nigeria's colonial heritage, it has been established that the corporate governance system in this country is essentially Anglo-Saxon, or "a system of external control". It is emphasized that in order to intensify the process of attracting foreign investment to the country, Nigeria applies the principles and improves the system of corporate governance. |
Описание: | A high level of corporate governance in the country is a guarantee of investment attractiveness, proper protection of the interests of national and foreign shareholders, as well as high competitiveness in commodity markets.
